As CAF’s Product Manager you will bring your advanced problem-solving skills to a dynamic, fast-paced and rapidly growing company.  We’re looking for a highly driven individual to provide leadership and direction in the product management process by owning the vision and driving the success of products throughout their respective lifecycle. The Product Manager sets a vision for all the products’ success and future and will ultimately be responsible for the products fate. This person will be responsible for ensuring that CAF employees are trained on our products while achieving and maintaining established goals. This position will include preparing and completing action plans; implementing productivity, quality, and product standards; resolving problems; completing quality audits; identifying continuous product improvements; and driving and implementing change.

The Product Manager reports directly to CAF’s Director of Products and Marketing, Riley Tubbs. Riley’s strong sense of dedication is not only to his company, but to every member of his team. Riley’s management style is to build relationships with each member of his team, encourage them to problem solve without fear of failure, improve through goal setting, coaching, and expecting excellence from himself and his team.

 

Your Core Responsibilities

  • You will be an integral part of the product development team and execute CAF Product Management process, goals and objectives
  • You will be responsible for developing, implementing and executing CAF’s go to market product strategy


What You Will Need to Succeed:

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the persistence to troubleshoot and execute
  • Strong organizational, social, written and verbal skills
  • Interpersonal and relationship building skills required
  • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PPT)
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Professional and consistent work habits, strong work ethic, driven to achieve personal and company goals
  • Satisfy pre-employment drug testing
  • Reside within 30 miles from CAF Office (Maple Valley, 98038)

A Preview of Your Day-to-Day:



1. Product Lifecycle Management

    1. Product optimization through continuous improvement processes and ongoing operations
    2. Product Improvement via CAF make it better (MIB) process
    3. Communication throughout organization
    4. Manage Product Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) matters
    5. Training oversight (internal and external)

 

2. Product Quality Control

    1. Develop and enforce Quality Control criteria for every product
    2. Process creation and improvement
    3. Monitor QC Report filled out by warehouse personnel
    4. Monitor COA (Certificate of Analysis) from vendors
    5. Take immediate action on any product not meeting CAF QC Guidelines

 

3. Product Strategy

    1. Set realistic vision of products’ success and future and ultimate responsibility for product success or failure.
    2. Establish process, align resources, and communication to ensure this vision becomes a reality.
    3. Execute Ownership of competitor analysis process


4. Product Analysis and Analytics

    1. Product Plan and Roadmaps


5. Departmental Responsibilities

    1. Set goals for department aligned with overall company goals
    2. Manage performance of department and product development team
